DANCE CAMPS

Rainbow Princess Camp

July 5th - 9th
3-7 year olds: 9:30am -12:30pm:
Come learn a full spectrum of creative movement in a fun, colorful and musical environment. Basic creative movement, ballet and dance steps will be taught right along with the concepts of color. Rainbow colored scarves, a crayon box of colors and the color wheel will be used to demonstrate the beauty and joy of combining music, color and dance. Rainbow Princess Dance Camp will reinforce physical coordination, concentration, posture and group participation. Not just for little princesses, your young Prince will gain a lot from this camp that encourages exercise, proper manners, and developing an attitude of chivalry and expression. Let your Rainbow princess come learn to color her world with dance, artistic expression and a room full of new friends.

Sock Hop- 50's Dance Extravaganza
July 5th - 9th
8+: 9am -3:pm
Interested in Musical Theater dancing? Love the bright, energetic and fun music of the 50's? Want to learn how to punch up your auditions with better dance technique? Come dance all day with us. Each day will begin with a basic warm-up, Jazz and Swing technique classes. Dancers will then progress into excerpts of choreography done to the fun and challenging music from shows like Hairspray and others with 50’s themes. Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced levels welcome.

Broadway Dance Review Camp
July 12th - 16
8+: 9am -3:pm
Interested in dance for Musical Theater? Want to improve your dance auditions?
If you love Broadway Musicals and would like to either explore dance for the first time or to expand your choreography experience at your level, this is the camp for you. Each day will begin with a basic warm-up, Jazz and Tap technique classes. We will then be exploring the wonderful world of the Broadway Musical. Be introduced to some of the greatest horeographers and then experience some great pieces of choreography for yourself. Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced levels welcome.

Favorite Princess Camp
July 19th-23
3-7 year olds: 9:30am -12:30pm
Come be your favorite Princess for the week. Creative Movement and beginning ballet concepts will be at the base of this class allowing each student to explore their favorite Princess and her story. Princes are needed too! We’re also looking for a fellowship of strong and brave Princes who are ready to fight off the dangerous attackers and defend the good Princesses! What does it take to be a real princess? How can I be a courageous Prince? Join Favorite Princess Camp and discover your Royal destiny in a world full of music, dance, and adventure.

Under the Sea Mermaid Camp
July 12th - 16th
3-7 year olds: 9:30am -12:30pm
Bring your little mermaid and friends to learn about the fantastic and magical world that lives under the sea. How does a dolphin move compared to an octopus? Or a crab compared to a jellyfish? Under the Sea Mermaid Camp will not only encourage a love of dance and creativity, but will promote an attitude of exploration and consequential thinking. Learning about many of these wondrous creatures and the amazing ways that they move explores a variety of "fintastic" Creative Movement in this fun and watery world.

Pixie Land Camp
July 26th-30th
3-7 year olds: 9:30am -12:30pm
Let the flowers, butterflies and pixies in your house come explore a garden of colorful and magical dance expressions. We will be reading excepts from many of the classic stories of pixies and fairies as we express these beautiful stories in dance. Join us for this fun and surprising week sprinkled with pixie dust.
