Danah while teaching at Hutchinson High School she received a National honor when her student was awarded a Scholastics gold medal. While living in Hutchinson, Danah participated in the Hutchinson Piano Project and was awarded second place in professional photography at the Kansas State Fair. After two years at USD 308 she decided she was ready for a change and pursued a job in the Kansas City area. Danah was delighted to then begin teaching elementary art at Morse Elementary in the Blue Valley School district. She is currently in her 6th year at Morse in USD 228.
In the spring of 2016, Danah began teaching at the Culture House. She instructs students in a variety of techniques and mediums during after school and Saturday morning classes.
